Here’s a description: In 2020, the government of Sierra Leone approached the administration and began collaboration on AHS becoming a community treatment center (CTC) for COVID. Due to the extreme difficulties that the country faces, the government simply doesn’t have the resources to fully support the hospital. But since the hospital is being used for COVID, there are only severely limited services for non-coronavirus patients. Donations help both with renovations to provide care to medical patients and help with the overhead of the hospital during this difficult time.
